Colonels lose to Oswego State in Florida

The Centre women's lacrosse team traveled to Orlando, Fla. to play a neutral site game against Oswego State. The Colonels lost by a score of 22-5. 

Junior Meg Hawthorne (Cary, N.C.) netted a pair of goals in the opening period, with junior Sarah Mastey (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and freshman Jacqueline Anderson (Louisville, Ky.) chipping in with first half goals, but the Colonels trailed 13-4 at the intermission.

The Colonels only managed one more goal in the second half, this one coming from sophomore Audrey Powers (Chattanooga, Tenn.). Sophomore Allison Eisner (Louisville, Ky.) saved 10 shots for Centre in the game.

The Centre women's lacrosse team will play one more neutral site game in Florida on March 19th against Geneseo State.
