In No. 1 singles, Abigail Kent (College Station, Texas) battled with the eighth-ranked singles player in NCAA Division III, Rachel Summers, falling 6-2, 6-2.

The Colonels return home and to Southern Athletic Association action next weekend, facing Millsaps March 30 at 10 a.m. ET.
